Powell River is on the mainland coast but is separated from Vancouver by water, so most visitors arrive by ferry or by air.

By ferry

BC Ferries serves the region, including a terminal at Saltery Bay at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast Trail.

By air

Harbour Air and Pacific Coastal Airlines are reported to offer daily flights between Vancouver and Powell River.
Confirm current schedules with the airlines.

Local transport

  • Lund Water Taxi serves Savary Island from Lund.
  • Sunshine Coast Shuttle is reported to serve trailheads.
